2.2Can See, Hear, Taste, Smell, Feel
|---|---|---|
| see | I see a bird. Veo un pájaro. |
I can see a bird right now. Veo un pájaro ahora mismo. |
| hear | I hear music. Oigo música. |

3.Preguntas frecuentes
Algunos ejemplos son know, believe, understand, like, want, prefer, belong, own, seem y contain. Se dice "I know the answer", no "I'm knowing the answer", y "This book belongs to me", no "This book is belonging to me".
En español es normal decir "no te estoy entendiendo", pero en inglés estos verbos van en Present Simple aunque hables de este momento: "Do you understand?", no "Are you understanding?", y "I want a coffee right now", no "I'm wanting a coffee right now".
I think it's a good idea", no "I'm thinking it's a good idea".
I can hear music", no "I'm hearing music". En español preguntamos "¿Oyes eso?" sin "poder", por eso es fácil olvidar can: lo natural es "Can you hear that?". También: "I can see a bird", "I can smell garlic", sobre todo en inglés británico.
